When it comes to the preschool phenomenon known as Dora the Explorer, my kiddos are right there, cheering her through another adventure. They love watching and answering questions as Dora and her friends make it past the Grumpy Troll, through the spooky forest and over the gooey geyser. So when I was offered the opportunity to review the Dora the Explorer magazine, I jumped at the chance. I knew my kids would love it.
To be completely honest, I didn’t have high expectations. This is only because when it comes to kids, companies tend to cheap out. They know it’s for kids, so they don’t go the extra mile to impress. This is why when I received the magazine in the mail I was amazed! The magazine was thick and glossy with a ton of stickers. Every page had an activity of some kind on it, even the back cover! Coloring, mazes, letter activities, counting and short stories.
The learning activities were great. I sat with my preschooler and went over the letter “e”. We worked through the activity together and then she colored the page. Now she can tell me three words that start with the letter “e”! I love fun learning opportunities. The magazine comes quarterly but there is more than enough activities to keep your little one busy until their next issue arrives! Plus, what kid doesn’t LOVE getting mail?!
I loved these magazines so much and I know you will too. Visit Titan Magazine’s website to subscribe today as well as get more activities, crafts and submit your pictures or stories to the magazine!
