Ask me Monday through Friday if I feel lucky and I will probably say no. Sounds bad…I know. But after I have washed dishes, made breakfast, changed a diaper, cleaned up breakfast, did laundry, wiped a poopy butt, made lunch, cleaned lunch, walked dog, fed dog, changed a diaper, wiped another butt…blah blah blah, you get the idea, I am too tired to feel lucky. Lucky to still be alive maybe…

When Friday comes around every week, I am just about at the end of my rope. I’m lucky to still be breathing and happy to have gotten at least 2 showers that week. This is when hubby comes home with a bottle of wine and a movie from Redbox. It’s at this moment every week that I realize I am the luckiest girl in the world! I am lucky to have a man who is a wonderful husband and an amazing dad. He puts up with my craziness and my neurotic behavior (yes, there is only one way to load the dishwasher or put towels in the washer!). He spends infinite amounts of time playing with the kids. He takes them to the park and lets them “help” around the house. He tells me I am beautiful when my hair is wild and I am still in sweat pants. I am lucky that I have such a strong partner and supportive best friend. Most of all, I am lucky that he knows exactly what I need when I need it.

After a hectic week, the thought of spending time with my amazing guy is what gets me through the week. Renting a movie from Redbox is quick, easy and cheap!
