My father in law reads my blog every day, and has even called me to ask if I was ok if I don't post in a couple of days. So, I can't write anything about my in-laws, or about my husband's health because even though my husband is 62, his parents still think of him as their little boy. Ugh. <br /><br />And then there is MY family. I thought I would be safe to write about my mother, but no! Though she does not even own a computer, I found out the hard way that my sister was calling Mom and reading my blog to her. So, I can't even rant about that. <br /><br />I do try to be as honest as possible, and I do "tell all" about me, because when it comes to ME, frankly, I don't give a damn. It is after all, MY LIFE. but like someone else said, I really wish I had not told family about my blog in the beginning so that I could write about more parts of my life without recrimination. I have in the end went with my gut. My readers are there because they get the truth, the good the bad and the ugly. They love the sarcasm I put into daily life topics and it keeps them coming back. I know that it probably miffs my family and friends from time to time, but the bottom line is it's MY blog, and MY outlet. I have however, stopped posting on my personal FB page my entries. I find that most of my family/friends don't go looking to read, they were just clicking. I get enough traffic from my blog FB page and my blog readers losing those few that just 'clicked' didn't hurt. Good luck! I have personally struggled with this a few times.
