There are those days when my tiny mind goes wandering down a path that leads…well, to nowhere really…but I still can’t get these things off my mind so I share them with all of you.

My kids watch tv…yup, here I am…THAT mom. Take a good look folks! They aren’t screwed up…yet… How else does a mom take a shower, cook a meal, sweep the floors, read a magazine, surf the net for over priced shoes, survive?! Here are just a few observations and thoughts I’ve had about kids television:

• At the beginning of every episode of Franklin, they say “Franklin can count by 2′s and tie his shoes”. Ummm…Who are you trying to fool here?! Franklin is a turtle that lives in the woods…he doesn’t wear shoes!
• Olivia’s uncle Garret is a professional football player…do you think he gets offended that the ball is called a pigskin?
• How is it that the Bubble Guppies can start a camp fire or that SpongeBob visits the beach?
• Do the musicians that visit on Jack’s Big Music Show take themselves seriously? Do you think they cry…A LOT? (Except for Dr. Strings of course….he is AWESOME!)
• The sexual tension between Bob and Wendy is just too much! It’s time for Bob to show Wendy how good he is at using a drill, if you know what I mean…
• When the kids on the Cat in the Hat ask their mom if they can go to some wacky, magical place why does she always sound like she is getting a happy ending from the mailman? “ooooohhoohhh! Sure!….Just stay in the backyard!”
• The Backyardigans…..What the hell?!?!
• If Carly was popping pills and Sam was sleeping with guys to get her homework done, you could slap iCarly on the CW and start drawing that 18-30 demographic…just sayin’….
