I am in complete denial that today is the last day of September. This month has been a whirlwind and I can’t believe it’s over. My mom made the long flight from California to Florida a couple of weeks ago and we had an amazing visit. I was so sad to put her back on the plane yesterday and the kids were nothing short of devastated.

Mr. M2C has been MIA lately. I think the last time we were in the same room and having a conversation was….ummmm…well…I can’t even remember! He has been out of town on business twice in the last two weeks and the latest trip had him away for 5 days, so you do the math. Today he is finally coming home. This is the point where I like to send a shout out to all of the military wives. I know my measly two weeks is nothing compared to the long deployments you endure. Also, Mr. M2C is not in a tent in the desert…he’s at the Hilton but I like to err on the side of dramatic!

With all of that said, I’m taking the weekend off. Taking some time to rest, recharge and hang out with my family. There will be no Friday Football post this week but I’ll be back in full swing next week. I also have a couple of reviews and awesome giveaways coming next week!

It’s ok…I threw up in my mouth a little too. See you next week!
